To register as a Contestant for the World Yo-Yo Contest 2026, please submit the Application Form linked below and pay the Contestant Registration Fee.

If you need an Invitation Letter from us for your visa application, please register/pay first and then request a letter from here.

In addition to registering as a Contestant, Contestants will ALSO need to purchase a separate Admission Ticket to access the Grand Hall and/or Lobby for the main sales booth area, main hall seating, and to compete in any round starting with Prelim for Championship Divisions and Final for Non-championship Events.
Registering as a contestant does NOT include admission to the Grand Hall or lobby area. Contestants also need to purchase an Admission Ticket to enter the second floor areas as a spectator/contestant (in exchange, the Contestant Registration Fee is now only for each division a contestant chooses to compete in). We appreciate your understanding.

Registration Deadline is July 17
Deadline for Contestant Registration is July 17 (Friday).
There is no on-site registration for contestants.
Please make sure you register BEFORE July 17 if you are competing at WYYC2026.
Championship Divisions
Contestant Registration Fee
- Early discount: JPY 11,000 (Until 6/30) for each division
- Regular Price: JPY 14,000 (Until 7/17) for each division
- Late Entry: JPY 42,000 (7/18-7/24) for each division
Championship Divisions are:
- 1A
- 2A
- 3A
- 4A
- 5A
- AP
All AP Contestants (including team members) must register and pay the Contestant Registration Fee before July 6 (deadline date for AP video submission). Otherwise, the submitted tryout video will not be sent to judges for evaluation.
Non-Championship Events
Contestant Registration Fee
- Early discount: JPY 7,000 (Until 6/30) for each division
- Regular Price: JPY 9,000 (Until 7/17) for each division
- Late Entry: JPY 27,000 (7/18-7/24) for each division
Non-Championship Events are:
- WOMEN’S FREESTYLE
- OVER-40 FREESTYLE Master Class
- OVER-40 FREESTYLE Open Class
- JUNIOR FREESTYLE
If you are competing in multiple divisions, please submit this application form the same number of times as the number of divisions/events you will compete in.
